Select the Oscilloscope tool from the tool selection combobox.
In the Setup group, place a checkmark beside each sensor that you wish to
configure and plot.
Next you will need to configure each of the sensors you just checked by
selecting the sensor to plot, units to use, and the type of chart to generate
(Line, Bar, or Dot).
Once you have configured the sensors to plot, you will need to specify how
long of a history to maintain. All of the charts will use the same history
value. The default is 30 seconds.
Click the Start button to begin plotting the configured sensors in
real-time.
You may click the Stop button at any time to freeze the charts, or change
sensor configurations.
NOTE: The speed of most OBD-II connections is relatively slow.
Therefore, you should keep in mind that the more sensors you select to monitor
simultaneously, the slower the refresh rate will be. You can attempt to improve
the refresh rate by specifying a shorter timeout value for the ELM
microcontroller under ProScan Preferences.
