Terminal

Note: The Terminal should only be used by individuals who fully understand the OBD-II specification as defined in SAE J1979.

ProScan is an advanced graphical user interface for the ELM32x series of OBD-II to RS-232 interpreters. The Terminal allows you to send custom hexadecimal-formatted requests directly to the ELM32x chip and view the vehicle's response.

Note: Before the Terminal will work, communications must be enabled and a vehicle connection must be active. If you cannot get ProScan to successfully detect and connect to a vehicle, you will need to use a separate terminal application such as Hyperterminal for further debugging.
