Vehicle Profile Manager

The Vehicle Manager allows you to maintain a list of vehicle profiles. Each profile contains a list of vehicle-specific parameters that may be needed by ProScan.

For example, instead of having to repeatedly enter weight and tire information to perform a dyno pull, you can simply create a vehicle profile to store the information. Then all you have to do is select the correct profile!

Selecting the Active Profile

The dialog pictured to the left allows you to select the active profile. If you intend to use a profile, you will need to make it active before enabling communications. To get this dialog, simply click the Vehicle Profiles button on the Toolbar, or select "Vehicle Profiles" from the "Setup" menu. To add or edit profiles, click the "Manage Profiles" button.

Managing Vehicle Profiles

Overview

The window shown above is the Vehicle Profile Manager. The list on the left side of the window contains the name of every created profile. Selecting a profile name in this list will display its parameters in the "Selected vehicle profile" section. If you change any of the parameters, you will be required to either save or discard your changes.

Creating a Profile

To create a new profile, simply click the "New" button.

Deleting a Profile

To delete a profile, select its name in the list and click the "Delete" button. Then click "Yes" on the resulting dialog that asks you to confirm your actions.
