Just wanted to let you know how much I like
my Elmscan5 and the ProScan software.I tested it on my 2004
Supercharged Pontiac Sunfire GT. It worked perfect. If there
are software updates in the future will there ever be a link to
read and clear ABS codes also?
Thanks again
Chris and Peggy Orr
HEY David, Love your Proscan... perfect for
my 1996 Range Rover.I was wondering if there is a converter for
OBD1 cars? I need it for an 1994 madza 626 my brother owned. Me
again comedyone. P.S. keep up the perfect works!
Dave & Amber:
I wanted to write and tell you that your new version worked
wonderful on my wifes 2000 toyota echo... she was on a trip and
the car threw a maintance flag... I expected the worse and when
she arrived home I had the interface booted and ready to go...
I ran a quick diagnostic and found that the flag was cause by
the gas cap not being on correctly...this I know for a fact
becouse I cleared it once before this and I got the flag
again.. it threw a fuel error... I tightened down the cap,
cleared the code and it has been running great ever since...
that could have been a $200.00 dollar trip to the dealer just
to get the code clear and gas cap put on right... so I wanted
to let you know the program is worth it weight in gold to me...
keep up the fine work...

I just purchased this package, and I can
honestly say this stuff is incredible! I plan to use this while
offroading to check engine usage and loads in extreme
conditions, and am recommending this to anyone with a love of
extreme wheeling.
...
Looking forward to ProScan 4!!!

Hi, I recently
bought your universal scanner and I love it!!
David O.
I purchased Elmscan 5 after doing some
research and having an expensive experience with a gas cap that
had been left loose on a Honda, and not being able to pass
emissions. The 'check engine' light came on again later so I
started looking into scanners. Most were $400 or more and were
jus a handheld tool that provided only numbers. I took a chance
on your product, and after some initial fiddling with a laptop
USB/Serial converter I quickly found, recorded and cleared the
fault. I've not done much with the other features yet but this
is a very handy tool that already paid for itself. My advice to
anyone with a car and access to a [laptop computer or] computer
you can park somewhere close to your car is to definitely get
one of these!

Thank you very much, you and David have been
most helpful, courteous and
prompt, I have enjoyed using your product, and will recommend
you to my car
club members!

Thanks again for the support. I really enjoy
this all-in-one unit. I have addressed all issues with the 96+
year cars that I've come in contact with and it works great.
Its also a lot of fun to use too. The interface is so easy to
navigate and I've never had it crash... yet haha. I'm looking
forward to the newest release. I'm glad someone finally made an
interface for cars that is both inexpensive and functional! I
thank you for this.

PS: You can use this as a testimonial if you like, you have my
permission.
Another e-mail from Kevin:
I cannot express how awesome this program
and interface is. it has helped me improve the performace and
quality of my vehicles driving experience! Thanks for bringing
such a great product to the market for home users!

Thanks for your reply. I was able to locate
the bad oxygen sensors even with the OBD
glitch and fix the car. Now as far as the car being freaky I
cannot fix it. It is a 1997 Dodge
Intrepid. It has had two rebuilt transmissions and about 5
changes of tie rod ends
but yet the brakes lasted 90k miles, go figure. So the double
report does not surprise
me.
I'll keep on the lookout for the update. Thanks for the great
product. I have already
showed the scanner and software to a couple of friends and they
have been
thinking about purchasing one. Less than $100 for your tool or
$120 for a service
station to tell you the same thing. To anyone with any bit of
electrical and mechanical
know how, it is a no brainer.
Thanks again,
Rick Pietruszka
Amber Gore,
I want to thank you for your great custom[er] service you
provided. Your company was easy to work with and stayed in
communication with me to let me know what was going on though
the whole exchange process. In the future I will turn to your
company for any other of my needs that you provide.
Thanks,
Michael Seeders
David,
Thanks. I purchased the product and just i time for a MIL on my
maxima. It saved me probably @ least $300 bucks because the
problem between two different codes turned out to be a
grounding issue on the ECM.
Thanks,
David Elefante
Everything works great. I downloaded 3.1 and
that fixed my problems. Thanks for the prompt responses. I will
highly recommend you to anyone that asks me about the great
ProScan stuff I will now be using on a daily basis. You all are
great.
Again thanks for the help,
Erick Reinwall
Hey how are you? I just wanted to drop you a
line to say thank you for such a good product. I had save a few
hundreds so far thanks to proscan. I have a 1996 infiniti and i
went to the nissan dealership to get my ignition switch fix and
they told me that i had a few codes that could be the answer to
my problem because my car was cutting off while i was drivin.
So they told me it would cost me about $75.00 to get it check
out and problaby about 100.00 for the part and about 200.00 for
labor so i took my car home, used my proscan and read the
problem. I went to an auto parts store and got the part for
about 27.45 and put it in myself, reset the codes and my car is
back to new. Thank you for develop[ing] such a great product. I
would be more than happy to keep using it and promoting it for
you.
